Putting orange on your pack
Seek Outside made me a top lid in orange xpac and I find that works well for me. -

What size pack for day pack?
I've found that 3500 was the sweet spot for me. Enough space for cold weather gear and compresses down to nothing for spring/warm weather hunts. -

Blaze orange pack - unobtanium
Check with Seek Outside. They made a lid for me in blaze orange xpac. Might be able to do a custom 3500 in it. -

Pics of Custom Seek Outside Packs
Correct on both. My order was placed before the new hip pockets were available. I never checked if the pocket could have been made with x21 when SO contacted me with the change. It's my current dive into spectra. I may look at getting a spectra merlin in the future.
