Unis Ginex Lg rifle primers for 7mm mag

I’ve read if you use a faster burning powder, it can compensate for the difference between a large and magnum primer

Unis Ginex Lg rifle primers for 7mm mag

Does anyone have experience loading 7mm rem mag with large rifle primers. All I can find now days in the Unis Ginex Lg rifle primers and wondering if I can just use a hotter powder instead of magnum primers.

    Ruger M77 Hawkeye Synthetic Stock

I just ordered an HS precision. I returned a Boyd’s prairie hunter after I changed my mind. The Boyd’s had some quality issues with the holes drilled for the action and I prefer the synthetic stock and full aluminum bedding blocks offered by HS. I would have had to fix a double drilled hole and...

Chasing Big Muleys and Mental Endurance

It’s all mental and you really have to ask yourself why you want a big buck. Do you want one to show off? Do you want to post a picture of you with a big buck so people think you’re credible? Do you think it will make you feel accomplished and happy to finally kill a big one? When I killed my...

Quartering to Shot With 7 Mag

I like the 160-170 gr range. My 7mm has a 1:9 twist and doesn’t shoot anything 175 gr+ nearly as well as the lighter bullets. I like the Berger VLDs or Hornady eld-x. Both shoot great for me but you should shoot a ton of different projectiles and see what shoots best for you. Last 6 bulls I’ve...

    Any 10x Bino Folks Around?

are powerbelts any good for deer

You’re way of asking for advice and then shitting on people’s responses makes you sound stupid. I don’t care what you shoot. You asked for advice with zero experience, and I shared some experience. Have fun shooting 80 pound deer with elk loads at 30 yards. Learn to spell. God bless

are powerbelts any good for deer

I shoot for lungs so shooting through the ribs probably isn’t going to get a ton of expansion I’m guessing. The powerbelts blew up on the front shoulder and not much was left to make an exit wound. Not good if that’s happening on a deer.

    Any 10x Bino Folks Around?

I switched from 8x to 10x this year and it’s a rough transition. It feels like I’m looking through straws with the smaller FOV. Debating whether to get another pair of 8s

    Sleeping bag liner/travel sheet

Get a bag liner and bring a contractor bag. Bag liner will help from the inside and pull the contractor bag over everything like a bivvy. That’s the cheapest and smallest option I have found that actually works

    Sleeping Pad Help

I have the Big Agnes AXL air. It has puncturing issues and I think they put out the rapide to replace it. I love it though. I’m a big fan af the BA pads. I have a Q core for shorter warmer trips. If the Rapide is like the AXL, I’ve been comfortable in 0 degree with a 0 degree bag. Wish I would...

Seek outside shelter or similar…. Thoughts, recommendations? Wanting to make the switch from a freestanding dome tent to floorless/tipi hot tent

I have a Kifaru sawtooth and supertarp. I’ll use my supertarp if I’m trying to save room in my pack. You’ll need a bigger area to set up than a 1p tent, but it takes up less pack space than my big Agnes copper spur/poles. You’ll need to pack a ground cloth to keep your pad clean and prevent...
