Hey I really appreciate you getting back to me on this but now have to replace my furnace after it fired for the first time this year. Good luck on the sale, this one is going in the 'one the got away' column for me.
Pa and I made our own 'league' with guys that hunted at his business partner's private place. We bought the savage F-TR .308's and absolutely loved them. Can't see myself getting back into it with time and prices of components as of late. Gun is long gone but still have a NF Benchrest scope that...
I have a pair of Revolver pants that I have beat on like they owe me money. After two years of constant abuse, the only wear is the cuff that will get under my shoe when I'm wearing them casually. If I only wore boots they would look like new. I also have a wildly overpriced sweater from them I...
I come from a family who owns no less than a dozen Kubotas. Everything from the baby bx to the 'agricultural' M6. In my opinion they are as close to bullet proof as you'll find. Hydrostatic is awesome for most people and Kubota has their $h!t rolled into a tight little ball when it comes to the...
Meopta carbon fiber tripod with their own ball head. Pig saddle clamping the gun. She's a little heavy with thermal and I have to apply some torque. With my non 'sporting rifles' it does well. The pig saddle was cheaper than the hog model and I wasn't concerned with weight. After scoring the...
I use a Pig Saddle to hang onto my AR with a thermal on top. It's a carbon tripod not really meant to shoot from and the ballhead could be a bit stiffer, but I haven't had any issues with it. Handles the 7mm -08 just fine.
You can get their entire setup (not the aluminum clamp) for under 500
If you're dead set on the judge Buffalo Bore has ammo in stock. This post does remind me of what a guide once told me about having a .357 sidearm:
"Did you file the front sight off so it doesn't hurt as much when the bear shoves it up your @ss?"...
I think it's really going to depend on the surrounding area. With my place being surrounded by private and knowing most of my neighbors I can be reasonably sure there are no hunters running dogs. If the bears in your area are pressured by dogs I think it will make a significant difference...
Just started applying last year since I own property up there. May I ask how many points you accumulated? That Newberry unit is nuts! But of course that's where my place is. Hopefully the amount of private land we have is enough to shelter them somewhat. I hear of guys needing 12 and 13 points...
I've got a few names for some of the guys lol but no. Just feeder drivers. Still pays very well but it's apparently never enough.

Looking for a bow that has excellent dampning and 40-50 lbs.
Been avoiding archery so as to not come to terms with my physical capabilities. Failing left wrist fusion and impending shoulder replacement since I have too much arthritis to fix my complete labral tear on my drawing arm.
Can't...
