Also following. I've been looking the last couple years and I am at 15 points. Those two outfitters are the first I've seen that add a trophy fee for the score on bucks. Not saying that's good or bad,
We used a large lag screw with a washer welded on the end and I kept the lower jaw attached to lean it against the wall. Here is right as our place was getting finished.
We've written up a similar agreement using ChatGPT and then modifying it to our situation. It's surprisingly good. Just enter your parameters and start with a prompt like: "Write an ownership agreement for a multi-owner cabin with..... and fill in what you just put"
I haven't found a good answer on this question. A friend and I will be applying with an outfitter that is in a permit area. That allows us to purchase an additional preference point at the time of application. This outfitter only works within the permit area. Assuming we draw the combination...
Thanks for sharing. Congratulation! I've been up in that country late season before and it is fun to see all of those bucks. It's always been a dream unit.
2023 Wyoming limited entry hunt. Went with At Ease Hunting guide Pat Ginder out of Casper, WY. Amazing time. Saw tons of deer and his guides were all amazing. 220 yards.
I definitely had a great experience. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going with Renfro's, just know that they operate differently and mother nature is ultimately in control up there.
Congratulations! Great write up. I went with Renfro's a couple years back and your pic bring back great memories. Had I known better, I definitely would've looked into Papa Bears.
I'd grid search around that creek, but that is a tough shot. If you hit the carotid or jugular you would have found him pretty quick. Best of luck, I know that feeling and all you can do is try.
I did that hunt in 2018. It's a blast and I was in the same boat. I ended up ditching the bow and just using my gun. Looking back, I am so happy I chose that because it was a logistic heavy hunt and an extra giant case and deciding each day whether to grab bow vs. rifle would have just made it...
If you can get in with Joe of Unreel Charters, he was amazing. He took my wife and I out for some bottom fishing and it was a ton of fun. He's intense, but in a good way. I think he would do great with kids.
I put mine in a spot with no service last year and left it on. When I pulled the card out it had definitely been taking pictures the entire time. Only hard part is adjusting the settings, I just left it on the factory setting.
I took my 6 year old to see Steven Rinella and get his book signed last night in Eden Prairie, MN (Minneapolis). The line was really long. It started at 5 and I arrived around 6. I was definitely in the last 1% of the line. A buddy showed up at 8 and was maybe 10 spots behind me with his kid...
