I am going to disagree with you. Shooting an elk at 500 yards with a sub magnum caliber isn’t hunting, it’s irresponsible. Too many risks to the animal and inhumane injuries. IMO if you can’t get closer than 500 yards to an elk you aren’t very good at hunting. My opinions are free and worth... -
Textured paint recommendations
The rubbery grip spray is EXPENSIVE. I would worry about it on moving parts too. I paint all my hunting guns because I hunt in the desert and the sun glare is real. I just did this to my latest AR. everyone says make sure you use flat paint, but the reality is if you put the flat clear coat on...- AZsniper

6.5 CM For New Hunter
There is no perfect caliber, but I think 6.5 is for kids. I did the same exact thing for my son. Put a break on a 6.5 and it becomes a loud 243. My son never developed a flinch and His form is perfect now as a teen. He has shot everything from coyotes to elk with it. Don’t let anyone tell you... -
Suppressor wait times
It’s such a weird process. Totally random the wait. I put in for a Nomad Ti 3 weeks ago and it is already approved. I just picked it up. Dealer said it was the fastest approval he had ever seen. -
Textured paint recommendations
Rustoleum makes textured spray paint. Home Depot has it. All the colors they have are shiny but you can spray it with a flat clear finish spray and it won’t be shiny. Gun will feel like sand paper. The paint is only $6 a can.- AZsniper

Painting a stock
Just painted my coyote gun. Saw a video of a guy using a mesh laundry bag to create some texture. This is the first gun I have pained but I like the way it came out and it was super easy/fast.- AZsniper
