    Ya, that was my thought. I've never had trouble flying with firearms/bows, just thought the baggage fees and inconvenience of tugging my case for 3 legs might add up. I just estimated a quote online, and was a bit surprised at the cost ($530??!). Might swing by Fedex today and ask in person

    Rifle Scope Advice

    The Maven RS1 2.5-15X44 is a touch heavier ~24oz I believe. I have the Viper HSLR 4-16X44 one my 300WSM and its a solid scope, but the tight eye box drives me crazy. Always takes an extra second to get behind especially in the field with awkward shooting positions.

    I love my 9X45 B2s. I feel like I pick out game better with my B2s than my spotter. Focuses quick and great in the trees as well Only complaint is the eye cups don’t stay put when I put them back in the harness

    You should check out Alamo Precision's Altitude build? I have one on order and it's basically this package exactly with the AG Composites stock instead of the Clymr and their in house bottom metal. Sounds like a sweet build!

    Preferred sidearm for hunting and or camping/hiking

    I put a judicious holster on my packs hip belt, but I’m curious how your rigging a holster to your bino harness. I like to leave my pack to explore sometime, and this would travel better
