I can HIGHLY vouch for a camper shell. The only downside to the decked or any other similar system is the loss of height inside the bed. But the storage and organization would be beneficial. All depends what your end goal for the truck is.

Personally do not think of buying anything from China to be a good idea, especially after the outbreak. Definitely willing to pay more for goods made and sold in the USA.

For me, I shed hunt to learn about my deer herd and take inventory on what bucks are remaining as well as go into areas I normally stay out of. They make for great stories along with history of certain identifiable bucks.
Oh, and my wife likes to use for decor around the house so its a win/win haha

I just got a silver lab for shed hunting next season.
I have introduced a small shed for them to familiarize the shape and smell. Fetch is a good way to work on the find and retrieve instinct.
