I bought this thing new about a month ago but didn’t do my research and found out apparently they are illegal to use in my state even for scouting. It had a problem where it’s hard to turn off sometimes which is annoying, you may just have to let it run which shouldn’t be a problem for most...
Can someone tell me if StrelokPro allows you to make a chart in 25 yard increments? The only one I see included is 100 yard increments which isn’t very helpful in a hunting situation. Thanks
I drew this tag and have what I think is a decent game plan. Does anyone know how much hunter traffic is on the independence pass side of the unit? I know there will be plenty of recreational people but I’d rather deal with them than lots of hunters. Thanks
I've pretty much listened to them all. Found a really good new one today called "dirty giants" which is mostly focused on desert muleys but he interviews a lot of unknown guys which is refreshing. What are your favorites?
I am new to the camera game and am just trying to learn as much as possible haha! I am just curious what everyone's thoughts are, there is about a 7 or 8 mile Ridgeline that I plan on setting 6 cameras on. I will set a few on springs I know of but it has enough hidden water sources that I don't...
Finally decided to get 6 of these cameras, I am wondering how long I can expect them to last in the field with lithium batteries? I plan on setting them up early may and leaving them sit all summer.
Is it a good idea to call to elk during September, specifically targeting big bulls? I know it can be effective on the satellites but all of the guys I know who are consistently killing large bulls in otc units are not calling at all. Either spot and stalk or following the herd until it beds and...
Figured I start a new thread (sorry) because I'm curious how the battery life is on some of these 50 dollar type trail cameras. I could care less if the image isn't the best or the trigger speed isn't the greatest. All I really care about is if it takes a photo when an animal is in front of it...
I am looking at scouting some low winter range country for bucks this summer. About 75 percent of the herd is migratory but I think some of this lower country could have some big deer that aren't being hunted hard especially because it's still very remote. I am mostly curious where you start...
A few friends and I are planning a hunt which we'll be flying to Colorado, how does everyone suggest we transport meat and antlers back home if we kill? I Have relatives in this town that we are flying into that I know would be more than willing to help transport meat/antlers. Just curious what...
Looking into buying a few of these for some backcountry deer spots. I am wondering if set up in a good spot if the solar panel will keep it going for months on end? I have had bad experience where just straight battery cellular cameras died in just a few weeks.
