    I average 2,740 fps out of my 22” tikka with 24.0 gr of Tac. My 73 eldm load trajectories are very close to the 77 gr tmk. Edit: for comparison the 77 tmk drop at 500 yards is 10.7 moa and the 73 eldm is 10.6 moa; pretty dang close

    I’m sure if the tag hasn’t shown up by the time you leave, you should be able to stop by an IDFG regional office and they’ll get you taken care of. You’d think in this digital day and age they shouldn’t have a two month turn around to get someone their tag.

    I use the Kolpin Stronghold xl and it fits my tikka t3x with a bipod and a 50mm objective scope. It’s by far the best setup I’ve used. A solid mounting system, easy removal of the case from the mount, and easy to open to pull the rifle out. Ar-15s fit easy in it as well.
