I'm curious as to how you can jointed rabbits. I'm brand new to canning and still researching how to do it and the equipment used. So this thread has been a wonderful source of information!
Currently working on getting myself a few Programming certificates so that I can earn a better paycheck which in the long run will allow me more hunting opportunities, These things cost money after all!
Last night took a trip to REI for kicks and giggles, Found a once used pair Salomon Quest 4D GTX boots for half of retail. Took em to public land and did a mini hike in them. They are awesome! Spooked a couple deer while on the trail too. Didn't really scout like I wanted to as OnX maps wouldn't...
Built some new 4 fletch Gold Tip Hunter XTs, got the bow tuned to the new darts, and started going on walks with my hunting pack fully loaded. Tomorrow I head to the grasslands and put some boots on the ground and practice a bit with the new saddle.
Ive used S&B Large Rifle primers for my 30-06 and my 6.5 Creedmoor. Ive had no issues with them. All primers sit flush in the pocket, went bang every time too.
Now that I know I can keep the shaft the stock length I'll probably go the aluminum route to get into it since it's around $5 a shaft vs $8.50 (clearance) carbon shafts. I do believe that I am getting a Bitzenburger for Christmas so I should be set when it comes to fletching and assembling...
I think I'm going to get half a dozen of the Carbon Express X-buster shafts to try out in the beginning. They are cheaper and I can fit them into my set up with shaft and point weight. .360 diameter at 29in 400 spine and a 200gr tip puts me at slightly stiff on Archers Advantage. I think that is...
I plan on making my current bow my target set up as I plan on getting a VXR before next hunting season as well as this bow I have currently can get me in the door of indoor for the time being. I've got a QAD drop away right now that I'm happy with, Release is a TruFire Synapse, so I might look...

Thank you all for the information, It's been really really helpful. I'm going to hold off on building arrows for now until I get a new bow. Until then I'll keep rocking my current arrows with 100grn BHs. I appreciate everyone's help on this matter.
Great information, I’m honestly over thinking it, quite over whelmed at all the different Options of arrows and such, but I’ll hold off on building arrows until I get a newer bow with a bit higher FPS. Plus who doesn’t like an upgrade? Thank you for your help, I do appreciate it!
