    KY Backpack Hunting/Fishing Partners

I’m originally from Virginia but moved to Franklin indiana here recently. I have been hunting the southern part of Indiana the past couple weeks but wouldn’t mind hunting Kentucky if work allows the time. My back packing buck from Virginia mountains last year.

    Bargersville/Franklin indiana

Thanks for the info. I was kinda worried about pressure coming from the lake side as I know very few put the miles in to get in deep. I don’t have access to a boat or that would definitely be my way of travel. Honestly I’m not comfortable nor confident in myself hunting the flat ground up here...

    Bargersville/Franklin indiana

More less looking for info on the Hoosier and Charles deam wilderness areas as far as pressure goes. I enjoy to backpack in and stay for multiple days at a time and not sure if these areas really have that opportunity. I have had absolutely no time to scout with the moving process, work, and the...

    Bargersville/Franklin indiana

Been a member for a little while but just moved to Franklin indiana and took a job out of bargersville. Looking to chat with some locals about hunting the area. I grew up hunting the public land mountains of Virginia and West Virginia. Attached is my public land buck from Virginia 2019. Would be...

    First lite zip offs

Received mine today. I’m 6’2” 225lbs and ordered an xl they are a little loose in the crotch area but fit right below the knee so I don’t believe they will try to ride up. But only time will tell very pleased with overall fit and finish though.

    First lite zip offs

I have never tried the zip offs but I really liked the idea of the furnace boot tops. I mostly hunt the mountains of Virginia and back pack in for a couple days at a time so it seemed like a no brainer to make the purchase.

I never leave the house without it or a millennium tree seat. I got tired of trying to cape skin bucks on the ground and the struggle of getting a mature whitetail hung up without help. Sadly I don’t have any bow pictures as normally my bow hunting is just a bunch of scouting. I take the month...

Backcountry Back pack White tail Bow Hunt

I do this in VA every year with success. It’s stressful on the first trip but it gets easier. Don’t overpack is my main suggestion. Minimize everywhere you can as the weight of a whitetail on the way out gets rough sometimes. I do suggest a millennium tree seat as it’s comfortable for all day...
