    Correct me if I'm wrong. I have a locking tag for a black bear that I did not use unfortunately. I can use it to tag a blacktail on a hunt this fall since it is of lesser value than the bear, can't I?

    I am rigging out a 300 win mag with a Zeiss V4 4-16x44. I do not see myself shooting out over 600-700 yds. Do I need a 20 moa rail?

    I’m looking at a desert walker cot. Are they worth the expense and weight to take on a moose hunt? I have a pad I will also use.

    FNG from Texas

    Been lurking awhile. Heading to Alaska this year. I've hunting elk several times but it has usually been from a base camp. Looking to branch out into the backcountry in the future so I enjoy the vast knowledge on this forum.
