    Sound Dampening

Stealth strips actually makes a kit for the buckles on cam straps. They are awesome, I have them on both of my mobile set ups.

    Sound Dampening

100% LOVE stealth strips. Tried hockey tape and moleskin and other stick on fleece. Stealth strips are super easy to use, they are very durable, and the glue never seems to leech out and get everything sticky like hockey tape eventually does.

    Climbing sticks

No offense taken at all. I completely understand. I know of several people who were crippled or dead falling from tree stands so believe me it's cool.

    Wyoming opener

All my hunts have been pretty mild weather. 30s-40s at night, 50s-60s during the day. But that was in north central Wyoming just west of Gillette. We always road camp so I bring clothes for all weather conditions. From reading past weather reports you can expect anything from below freezing to...

lightweight carbon fiber stock for Remington 700 LA

Check out Stocky's stocks at stockysstocks.com they sell several of their own along with a ton of the big name ones. I have their long range composite with the accublock on my Rem 700 7mm mag. They claim to be the first company to offer the full aluminum bedding block. I'm really happy with...

Region C diy public land muley

Beautiful buck, congrats! If you don't mind me asking. How did you get him? Was it a spot and stalk? OR what tactics did you use to locate him and take him?

    Filling a hollow tupperware stock

Use a soldering iron on the inside of the stock and stipple it up to create a rough surface for material to stick to. then fill it with glass bedding material from Brownells or another gun supply store, or bondo from an auto part store. There are some great instructional videos on youtube. Just...

    Climbing Treestands

I used a climber for years, but switched to sticks and a hang on stand about 4 years ago. there is a bit of a learning curve getting it set up quietly and quickly vs a climber. But the sticks and hang on stand open you up to lots more trees than a climber. The best advice I will give you though...

EZ up it is! I always wanted one anyways, plus I've done the pile of stuff from the hardware store many times in the past, and it always sucks.

    Climbing sticks

Once yo get them get yourself the military surplus molle backpack straps and waist belt to carry your stand. Definitely the best way to carry your stand IMO.

Clothesline for road camp in open country

I am doing a muley / antelope hunt this fall in very open country. We are setting up a road camp that we will be driving from to our hunting destinations every morning. I am in need of some sort of system to use as a clothes line to hang towels, wash cloths, and clothing to air out. There are no...

    Glassing Prone

I can't even imagine how bad that must get. I have arthritis in my right knee and that hurts bad enough when I sit with my leg bent for even a few minutes. Screws must be way worse.

    Glassing Prone

In my experience it is very uncomfortable to the point of wasting valuable glassing time. In order to pick out game I need to be comfortable so I can shut out everything else around me. Being uncomfortable is too much of a distraction, you are constantly repositioning and skworming around. Maybe...

    Tree stands for crooked/angled trees

Lone Wold and XOP pretty much have the same features for adjusting on crooked trees. I think the edge goes to Lone Wolf on quality but XOP are a bit more affordable.
