Cut my barrel or re-barrel and sell the old one?

That sounds like some sort of a communications error. Several people here on RS have done it and the rep at the Sheep Show told me about it. For what its worth I have not had one swapped but you might contact them again.

A Newbies Positive NRLHunter Experience in Detail

Exactly. I never really relaxed. I have the Revic combo so I did not need to switch from binos to rangefinder but I definitely struggled to relocate the targets after I set up and got on the gun.

A Newbies Positive NRLHunter Experience in Detail

What an awesome weekend! I ended up tearing my calf muscle Tuesday before the match so I reached out to Dan the MDT Hunter Challenge Match director. He said no problem and to come on Friday so I could shoot with the range officers (RO) since they would be driving to the stages. I was able to...

Best out of box accurate 6.5prc?

Wise words. That is exactly why I am shooting the PH2 tomorrow in 6 Creedmoor for my first NRL event and running just under 11 pounds. I almost wish my Element in 6.5 PRC was either a 6mm or a 6.5 Creedmoor. The PRC shoots great I just don't need the horsepower for what I am dong with it and its...

    Revic BLR10b Rangefinding Binoculars

That is correct. If it was last paired with the platform you are using and nothing has changed you are good to go.

Best out of box accurate 6.5prc?

I have read a few stories but Seekins gladly gives them their money back. I found a part on the bench when testing my first Seekins. I sent in a picture and had a shipping label and a phone call in hours. It turned out to be the slot broke off of the Leupold backcountry ring I was using. They...

Hard to argue with a Tikka right out of the box.

Best out of box accurate 6.5prc?

Seekins Precision hands down. Unless you like to dink around and change stuff they just flat out shoot and the customer service cant be beat. They have good stocks, are individually factory bedded, have Timney triggers and feature a shooter satisfaction guarantee. Thats not 1 MOA or .5 MOA its...

    Portable Camp Stoves at Lowes

The picture I saw was two vertical cuts in the pipe. As far as length of cuts I would assemble the pipes mark how far they seat together, disassemble and cut to just below the mark so cuts are not exposed when assembled.

    Zeiss durability vs NF, Trijicon?

I would have no hesitation about getting the Zeiss at that price. I have two V4 scopes in Alaska that get soaked and bounced around and a V6 on my Nevada/Idaho 7mm PRC. They have all been great. At a little weekend shooting class last year my V6 on a Seekins element was able to take the last...

    Revic BLR10b Rangefinding Binoculars

I can’t comment on fog but mine have been on three hunts. One of the hunts was in SE Alaska and they were soaking wet every day and any time I am hunting I leave them outside so they stay acclimated. I have had them for almost a year and just changed the original battery. My only complaint is...

Question for precision and reloading geeks

Update. I went out again today and shot from the prone position and I also added my Seekins brake. The Leupold was holding zero just fine and I was able to use a Ckye double pull this time. Being able to have the stability really seemed to clean things up. I was able to clang steel out to...

Question for precision and reloading geeks

Always a possibility but my Leupold scopes have always been good. I am going to load up a new batch and I will test at 100 again but I had two touching just before dialing out to 300. It was not submitted to a drop test yet.

    Tikka vs Springfield vs Seekings

If you can swing it Seekins is a far better rig out of the box. I have had several Tikkas and they are fine rifles. If you are just going to buy it and shoot without changing or upgrading the Tikka is great. Having said that I now own two Seekins Elements and one PH2. If length is not and...
