I’m excited to give this another go this year! I’ll be going for an MER of 40 yards, and simulating a mule deer’s vital zone with the big yellow circle, which is about 6 1/2 inches across. Shooting a Bowtech Fuel with Easton Bloodline arrow and Muzzy broadhead.
Day 1: Off to a decent start...
I just checked this, and my not-so-official kitchen scale weighs the bottom sections at 2.93 oz each, or 8.79 oz for all three. Not sure how much a cap weighs but that obviously adds a little weight back in. The second lowest sections weighed in at 2.01 oz each.
It is removable and reversible, although I don’t know how you would mount a head without it since the head attaches to the center column. I’m brand new to the tripod world though, so maybe there’s a way to do it that I’m just not aware of?
I just ordered that same setup from them. I think the coupon brought the total to something like $297 and qualified for a $15 rebate, but when I called they rang it up for $300 so it qualified for the $30 rebate. Great folks to work with, and a very nice tripod/head setup.

Hey cruizer, just curious if you’ve had a chance to try these in the Omega yet, and if so how did they do? Seems they’re all I can find around here as well, and I’m thinking about trying them in an Accura MR. I can only find 1000/pk though, and don’t exactly want to buy that many if they’re not...
Hello all, new guy here from Utah. I’ve found myself spending a lot of time here and have learned a lot from the site, so I figured I might as well join and make it official. After hunting with a rifle and muzzleloader for years, I’m now diving into the world of bow hunting as well and having a...
