Not sure they will fit the way they should, I've shot them all, the GT pierce system is better than black eagle or the vap, with a short stubby modern broadheads it don't matter
but with the longer Trad heads som of the outserts can be a libilaty, if they alloy, if steel it's better but then...
take a look at the black eagle ( deep impacts or x impacts) u can get steel inserts with them in ur spine size. 10 x better than VAPS. I like the micros, but have killed game with 11/32 woodies, 5/16 wooides and standard sized carbon. They will all work I shot 45lbs so any advantage is and...
I went thru longbow love for a few years, made some harvest with mine, 1 piece 64". But have switched back to a recurve I personally have extend my range with the curve.
cool thing is ole south cox makes longbow limbs for my coyote curve.
i do believe the longbow limb design is bomb proof tho
I have tried 3", 4" and 5". If they are tuned it did not matter much with broadheads, I did find a large snuffer did not fly good with a 3" feather.
but all other heads did great vpa and stingers
I shot 4" parabolic
i don't have much an issue with arching arrows my higest arch is at 12.5 yards and it's 6-8 inches at max, well in the kill zone of a deer shooting for the heart from 0-25
I just never could get an anchor I liked with the fixed crawl. I liked my current anchor and relase better.
I don't care for that much arrow hanging over but it's worth the accuracy.
my Ke and monumutem stayed almost the same
I'm shooting 44lbs @ 28, I draw 28. Full length GT hunter 400 32" 100 grain insets, 145 grain head, 5 grain Carbon collar 530 grains. Nock 3/4
when I shot instinctive I shot gold tip kinetic 500 full length 30" standard insert and collars 145 grain, 433 grains 5/8 nock point
my point on with...
I'm shooting 3 under, middle finger corner of my mouth. That about as high as I can get. I got nock set at 3/4". I've shot instinctive for years with good results hunting 20 and in on deer and turkey.
I never want to gap normally because I did not want to aim 14" low on a animal. This will be...
I've messed with both, I found a long heavier arrow I can get my point on down to 25, shot at the same spot and the highest my arrow will rise at 12.5 yards is 7-8 inches. It will stay in a 8" circle from 0-25 shooting at th same spot.
great for u elk guys, shot at he crease and it's going to...
I have shot instinticve last few years done well on live animals. I have recently been experimenting with longer heavier arrows to reduce my point on to 25 yards.
it seems pretty dam effictve to hold point on at 25, a tad low 15-20 ish, a tad lower 0-15 and a tad high at 30.
i went from a 30"...
I shot r/d and other longbows, because I never could find a recurve with a grip I like. The coyote risers is much thinner and lean compared to most recurve, I love the grip.
i assume the jackal is the same.
so how long does it take deer to return to these Areas, the unit I am trying to learn and hunted this year was decent, good enough for this flat lander.
but it appears the sheep are there annually
just got back from Colorado last week, finally found some bucks in small bowls and ridges very close 2 the road, 1 mile of less but it was not an easy mile.
glass some good stuff saw nothing.
Question, can I legally glass my unit from the bordering unit, during the season? I assume if I don't have a weapon/bow with me in the other unit than I would be good.
i can glass a ridge line better from the other side
