T3 action in KRG Bravo chassis, I put this together as a match rifle with a Criterion 6 creed barrel chambered by Solid Accuracy. 300 rounds through it, I have 300 once fired peterson cases and dies.
I put a McGowen 6.5 creed barrel on this March for NRL matches, with my 40 oz scope I'll be 6...
I'm looking for feedback on the LRP S3, I'm looking at the 6-36x56 for NRL/PRS matches.
I'm looking for durability in addition to glass quality, eye box and all the other checklist items.
Sound off if you have any experience
I'm looking for feedback on the steiner t6xi in terms of ability to hold zero and track after a little abuse.
Has anyone racked up a good round count cranking the turrets on one of these?
Bounced one around in a vehicle etc.?
Hey fellas
Wifey booked me a mandatory family vacation to the big island at the end of the month.
I killed some archery hogs in Kauai at a friend's nursery awhile back and that got me looking into DIY hunting on our trip.
I've never been to the big island, we're splitting our stay between Hilo...

Last year I built a short barreled 7-300 wsm improved on a Tikka action, it's an awesome round but all that extra space in the Mountain Tactical magazine got my gears turning.
I'm a huge fan of the fat wsm and nosler case designs with 35 degree shoulders, I got to looking at the 33 Nosler case...
I took a friend elk hunting in a "non motorized" area opening day of the Idaho rifle season.
We were sweating up a long grade on mountain bikes in the dark when suddenly a couple fat boys from the Midwest came cruising past us on 1000 watt $7000
E bikes.
They were nice guys and we chatted a...
Ambushed this bull on day three,
I've recently changed my strategy from calling to waiting on travel corridors due to the massive archery insurgency leading to super call shy elk.
Here's some advice fellas, put the calls away and do some stalking/observation
6 boxes of 7mm 180 vld targets same lot
3 boxes (1 of them a partial with 90 left) same lot .
$75/ box shipped, I can work out a little better deal on shipping if someone bought them all
After 14 months I finally got my Nomad LT suppressor, I've been running it on my 18" 7-300 wsm improved and 24" lightweight 30 Nos.
I have a 9" Banish 30 to compare it to and I'm blown away by how much quieter and efficient the LT is at reducing recoil.
It's only 8.4" long but the 1.7" diameter...
I finally got my MPI Sportac stock for my recent Tikka 7-300 WSM improved build.
I bedded and painted it this weekend and just put it on tonight.
The vertical grip feels awesome prone and offhand, the stock has a sleek feel which I really prefer over the blockyness of just about every other...

I've been playing with the 175 ELDX lately after seeing some disturbing failures to expand with 180, 195, and 168 Bergers at impact velocities between 2100-1800 fps.
The media I'm using to test expansion is saturated clay soil, not perfect but In my experience it's a very good indicator of real...
I have a custom throated 7mm thats running .250 freebore for 195s, I'm looking to give the 168 bergers a try but I'm concerned accuracy might be a problem with the huge amount of jump..
Has anyone shot them from a long throated chamber?
