Schnee’s Mountain Boot vs Hoffman Explorer flex rating

I’m pretty familiar with the flexibility of Schnee’s Beartooth and Timberline boots. I’m a high end boot ho and I’m starting to think there’s something to the one-piece vamp design on the Hoffman Explorer. Can anyone speak to the flexibility and perhaps even fit of the boots as a comparison?
