A couple of weeks ago I completed the 78 mile, 3 day mountain ultra on Knoydart on the west coast of Scotland. Just over 26 hours in total. Came 35th out of 64. Pretty happy with that for an out of shape 49 year old from the flat lands of Norfolk, England with minimal training!
I took a good friend out yesterday evening to try for a roebuck in North Norfolk, England. The rut is on at the moment for this species so the chances of seeing deer moving or being able to call them was good despite the continuous and at times heavy rain. We have six species of deer in the UK...
Had a look out yesterday during the roe rut here in England. Took the camera and rifle. I shot a muntjac buck just to keep up on the cull but I am more pleased with the photos and video footage that I got. Here is a yearling roebuck.
