Goat tags in AZ have almost reached sheep status. I got tired of not getting drawn and started trying for a muzzleloader tag. Finally got a tag and killed that guy

I like to use the gopro app on my phone to make my videos since my phone is what I use for most of my video and pictures. The good about the gopro app is that it interfaces with Google photos so as long as what you have is downloaded on Google photos or is on your phone you can upload to the...
Another GPS that is pretty awesome is Back Country Navigator. That is what I use. It is right around what the price of Gaia is for the subscription. (Sorry iOS users...only for Android). The awesome thing about it is that each state has a download, and you can download your entire state for...
Usually I cherry pick the best pics and video and make a video and uplaod it onto my youtube for whatever the trip might be. Long after I am not around I hope that youtube account will still be there for my kids and grandkids to pull up. I use the gopro app and make all the videos on my phone...
I like the milk that doesn't need to be refrigerated for bringing to camp. Cost a $1 a box and tastes pretty good. Plus lots of food for trail snacks and sardines for a buck...lol (pretty much same price as Wally World though)
Thanks. That answers a lot of my questions. I was wondering if I could go with lower rings with but I guess not. Not sure what you mean by the extended Talleys. The high Talley rings? Mine is going on a Bergara short action.
Looking to put one of these on a rifle for coues deer hunting. How big of difference is there in brightness between them? Is it negligible for what I need or would I be handicapping myself with a 44 mm objective?
Thanks
I called Salomon on this. They said they are no longer making this model of 4D's. They are updating them and the new model will be out this Spring. In the meantime, you would have to buy whatever they have left in stock from REI or Backcountry or wherever.
So I am going to be picking up one of these soon. I am just trying to figure out which one. I can get a mil discount on all of these and they would all be right around the same discounted price. It will be going on a hunting rifle, primarily used for Coues deer hunting. Has Leupould fixed their...
I am going to be picking up some higher end glass for a rifle for coues hunting. When it comes to hunting do you find the 44 mm objectives are sufficient for low light shots or are the larger objectives worth the weight and price penalty?
There doesn't seem to be much info out there on them. I can get a new pair for around $1000. I would use them for glassing Coues primarily. Now that they have been out for a few years has anyone on the forum here used them. What are your thoughts?
Thanks
In just dryfiring it, I think it feels great. I don't feel the need to even adjust it from the way it came out of the box, and I definitely don't see any need for an aftermarket trigger.
6.5 CM. The rifle looks great but I can't say anything about accuracy on it yet, as I am still getting it set up. Plus I can't find any ammo for it and and haven't found any brass locally for it yet either, so who knows when I will ever get to shoot it.
I can confirm this. I have one. That is why I recommeneded it. For the price of it you would buy a B14 and then pay to have it threaded, and come out at the same price...plus the Wilderness Ridge is Cerakoted.
I have done some more research and some of the posts in here kinda pointed out what a one trick pony a Harvester is.
I am really liking the idea of the Q Trash Panda. It is short and lightweight (TI), and it comes with two flash hiders that aren't super obtrusive and only weigh 2 oz, which...
