I've heard the same thing, and have been told by people who were at the ATA show that they saw the prototypes and that they are in fact coming out with one soon. When exactly though they did not know, but everyone who has seen it said it's very well made.
I think this is due to more people finally catching on as to what can happen when you mention specific units online. I know in most hunting and fishing groups I follow it seems like more and more people are being extra careful to not give up specific info and blowing up spots.

Interesting discussion, but I’d like to know of all the game animals that are killed illegally every year what percentage were done by someone who truly had to do it to feed themsleves or their families. I bet it’s like 1% or less.
This was a thought I had also. I'm all for limiting tags in some fashion, but the more they limit them the more of a ripple affect it will have elsewhere. All these others states are already much harder to get tags now with no slow down in sight, and that with CO being unlimited OTC.
