    Another Tent Thread (2man, trekking pole, ~3 season)

    The X-Mid is absolutely fantastic by all accounts, but be aware that it requires quite a large area to set up for the 2 man. Larger than you would think. So if setup space is an issue, might not be the best choice.

    It doesnt matter at all, but I am personally a fan of more neutral colors, so I would go with brown. However, there is something to be said for bright colored tents in the back country.

    For Quilts, the Hammock Gear Econ line is your best bet. If you want a cheap but surprisngly decent trekking pole tent, get a 3F Lanshan tent. You can find a bunch of videos about them on youtube and lots of good discussions on them on reddit. I think they're only like $120.
