I'm in Parker, right down the road. Been here 12 years. Castle Rock is great, good access to a lot of adventures. If you thought Waterton was busy, cruise down to the Deckers area on a weekend between April and October.- ToolMann

DIY Zero Stop for Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 and 4-14X56
Glad it worked out. I had about 2 or 3 moa below zero too. Was nice at least having a stopping point. -
7mm-08 150 gr accubonds?
That's how I do it too. 140 Ballistic Tip and Accubonds. Don't change anything but the bullet when loading. -

Eastern MT??? Thoughts?
I hunted Unit 4 in 2020. Had high expectations from a buddy who grew up there but had moved away. We had a blast, but the hunting sucked. My buddy was shocked at the change over the years he'd been gone. It will be a while before I go back, but I'll still be back. -

I went with the 3-18X44 with the L-4W MOA reticle. One could say I scored a "deal". Nothing too crazy, I'm just in a few government/pro programs because of my line of work. A couple hundred off retail. I sold my SHV 3-10. I liked that scope too but the reticle didn't do it for me. Will finish... -

Conejos Canyon Outfitters
We leave tomorrow evening for this hunt. Riding in Thursday. Figured we'd stay in Mogote for a night to shorten the Thursday drive. Can't wait to spend 8 days in the back country with my wife. Getting some meat and her first bull will be a huge bonus. The hard part is not packing too much...
