    I hunted the south unit in Nov and was successful on day 3, but it was after an insane amount of work. I was pretty convinced that it wasn’t going to happen, but it finally did. The north end is crawling with elk that are much easier to hunt.

    I’ll be honest. I don’t think there’s any update or speeding it up, but I don’t know for sure. I’m willing to bet that the only update is the ATF hasn’t approved it yet, and they’ll approve it when they approve it. Wait times seem to be fairly inconsistent.
