Day 1:
So we roll into the trail head about 3:30 PM on August 28 Friday. I stopped in Pocatello Idaho to pick up @publichunter1. We met a nice older WY resident couple at the trailhead...
Got the boat out on the Columbia River for the 2nd time in 2021. Another great trip! Caught and released a 11lb 12oz. and 2-8lb big females. Walleye are so much fun. Enjoy the couple of pictures,

This was my 8th year I believe packing with my pack goats. I spent 13 nights in a tent packing with the goats this past season! Packed in 10 miles on the first portion of the hunt. Here are a few pics from my season.

What is the consensus on what you harvest each year. I am mostly a meat hunter. So I have filled 9 of 11 tags over the past 10 years that I have been elk hunting. I hope to be able to be a bit more picky the next several years since both of my children are of age to elk hunt. They both helped...
Thought I would post an introduction. I am on a couple other forums under the same username. 3k + posts. I think by looking around on the site I see some of the same usernames.
