Thanks folks. I think you are all correct. I just didnt want to hear the answer was to carry more stuff. I think ill go with the 8x and some new maven b5 15x56s. Appreciate the meopta idea. I am sure they are nice but the mavens are a great price and seem to be highly regarded. Cheers. -

Looking to purchase a solid 1p xmid or the 1p hubba hubba. Looking for advise. Needs to be lightweight and pack small due to the amount of water i have to pack in early season. WTT Paratarp for steelhead
WTT. Kifaru paratarp with pole kit and brown pullout it came with (not pictured). Paratarp basically brand new. Seam sealed. Slept in it 2 nights and just cant do the bivy and tarp game. OR stargazer pad question
Anyone running an OR stargazer bivy? Im about to buy a new pad xtherm or xlite and am wondering if the large (tapered 25inch) pad fits inside. By measuring it looks like itll fit but it will be tight. Also have any issues with a thick pad in that tight footbox? Or am i going to be better off...- Lamb
