I have a good tripod and love shooting off of it when time allows but I have had multiple situations where fast deployment of something stable like a bipod would be more suitable
I haven’t handled either one and looking for opinions. Shooting off of a bipod suits me really really well. Just got back from a spring bear hunt and could have really utilized the option of going tall like either the hatch or mdt cykepod offers for a steep angled down hill shot.

Just went down this rabbit hole myself. I landed on an accutac and couldn’t be happier. They are on the heavier side but I was looking to pick up a little weight on my rifle. I went down the really light weight path and ended up missing just a lb or two more for stability.

Best eye relief I have seen is with Eotech vudu scopes .. not sure if they fit into your budget range but they’re great quality and have plenty of options to meet your specific needs
Thanks for all the advice guys! I ordered a MKM machining bubble this morning! Looks like a good setup, I really like the looks of the flatline ops and might buy one for my other rifle and compare the two.
Is there a particular brand or level that folks shooting LR or ELR prefer ? While in the field on their scope?
Second question, does a level on the chassis completely replace the need for a secondary level? I have an XLR element 4.0 and it has a built in level but I think I would prefer one in...
