    Recession Coming?

I hear you, I work remote for a large utility in another state and can say that not everyone works as hard as some. However I personally work longer hours at home than I did in the office. I dont have to commute each way, and during lunch I can mow my yard, run, or generally do something...

    Recession Coming?

I work in procurement.... about a year ago everyone was saying a recession was coming as orders were not increasing (Im summarizing). 1. This reduction was mainly caused by the moderating of shipment lead times and increased on time rates by the carriers. Companies/Manufacturers didn't need...

Old stands- probably some great memories

Frequently, I think its neat running into old ones as they can have some unique features (found one in eastern Oregon that had a couch in it).

Agreed, I have hunted antelope 15 and if you arent there opening weekend you are missing out on what limited opportunities you may get due to the antelope being pushed around and shot at etc.

Cabelas cx pro hd spotting scope review

Hey everyone, I was in the market for a new spotter when a deal fell into my lap while visiting my local cabelas. I had gone there to check out the different spotting scopes they had for what I deemed reasonable (around 500 max budget) and I ended up purchasing a Cabelas cx pro hd spotting...

    Day Hunt Lunch Menu Ideas?

For cold weather I like peanut butter and bacon sandwiches. you have to make in advance but they travel well and and great in the field. Maybe add a little honey if you need some sugar and your set.

Don't put stuff on the ground next to the truck

I do (A LOT) of duck hunting, I will usually lean my shotgun on my tire. When I do this, I also open the gas filler door. It gives me a visual indicator if I have left anything (I havent, but not for a lack of trying). ;)

Worried about theft back at the truck while hunting?

you could always catche your gear somewhere in a cooler (like others have mentioned) if you are that worried about it. Back in the day we used to through hunt an area and would leave my popup camper tucked into the bushes near the trailhead. Never had a problem, but out of sight out of mind.

Travel Trailer Size Experiences & Recommendations?

I have a 27ft Outdoors RV (ORV) and I absolutely love mine. It is much larger of a rig that I thought I would ever buy but its been great. We mostly camp in the NF random sites and dry campgrounds which is where my ORV comes in. They are built to drive up/down the not so great roads and with...

    Rolling Hard Case

I use mine for protection while travelling, save my main rifle from getting bounced around and such. It fits almost perfectly in the back of my F250 and I have devised a locking system for it that would discourage the average thief. I hunt out of state (wyoming, arizona periodically) and I...

    Power winch with jumper cables?

Anderson connectors are awesome, and use the cheaper (but correct gauge) wire with them.
