You're on the money about serving them something that's prepared right. So many of our opinions are formed by one negative experience, usually with an inexperienced cook.
Yes, that sums it up well. I think it would be handy where there is brush you need to shoot over. It's got the height if you need to do a kneeling or sitting shot, but can also splay way out to give you the option of shooting prone. Here is a video of a shooter using it to change positions fast...
Good question, and one I asked the designers too. To gain something (speed of position adjustment), you've got to give something. I can't stress enough that this is designed for medium ranges (200-400 yds), where they found that it was real stable through the shot sequence, and what happened...
Howdy Roksliders! I'm an Oregon based rep for Spartan Precision Equipment, and we just launched something totally different. The Springbok Bipod mounts magnetically to your same Spartan adapter and uses our same carbon Pro Legs, but what makes this one different is it uses a flexible silicone...
It's fantastic to see that so many of you have got some value out of this thread! I thought this was going to be my year to draw the Silvies tag in Oregon. Due to point creep, it looks like I have to wait until next year. I'm still getting excited about it though!

Seeing too many bears is a good problem to have lol. I've always thought it would be handy to have a hunting partner who could set up on the other side of a canyon and glass back your way. That way you could help each other if you spotted a bear too far away for you, but possibly near them...
You're right, I wouldn't want to shoot a bear at long range unless there was a lot of open ground where I could see what happens to it afterwards. Not really interested in chasing something wounded into thick country
We've got bear season coming up again! How about we revive this thread? We shared so much valuable information, and I'd love to fire it up again. What is one thing you've learned in the last year?
PS- if you haven't seen this crazy scary bear hunting video from Stuck N The Rut, it will get your...
That sounds like a well thought out, simple rifle for hunting. More and more I'm beginning to like uncomplicated designs when hunting is the main objective
