    I just bought some Vortex PMR rings to mount my VX5hd. They are fairly light (only slightly heavier than the talleys) and definitely super strong. I would definitely recommend them for anything with magnum recoil.

    browning x bolt scope recommendations

    I just picked up a Leupold Vx-5 3-15x44 with the windplex reticle. It is crystal clear and really light. I would highly recommend it.

    Has anyone done an early season high country mule deer hunt in Unit 471 in Colorado? I put in for a tag this year and just want to start doing some research. Does this unit hold a decent population of Mule deer? Any basic advice for hunting in this unit?

    Did you see your velocities suffer at all using the br2’s? Was the accuracy pretty comparable?

    Ya that’s sort of my issue right now. I have been able to find some large rifle primers on the secondary market for a fairly decent price but can’t find magnums anywhere. I will start working some loads up with some stick powders and just try and see what my gun likes. I appreciate the help!

    Leupold Vx3hd vs Vx5hd

    Does anyone have experience with the new Vx3hd? Looking to put a scope on my rifle to be used going after mulies and elk in Colorado. Just wondering if anyone can compare the glass between the two? Is the Vx5 worth the extra 250 dollars?
