Reloading advice: bullets? Vary for target/hunting?

Just shoot ELD-Ms. Some of the best ballistics out there and also the deadliest.

OMG. I drew one of the best Coues Deer Units in New Mexico- advice?

Obviously OP means well and is excited, but... As a resident that hunts this unit, I'd rather not turn this thread into a honeypot.

OMG. I drew one of the best Coues Deer Units in New Mexico- advice?

This post has already violated rules maybe? No unit specific info.

That would be against forum rules. This is not an OIL tag for residents, which are actually most of the tag holders.

Reloading advice: bullets? Vary for target/hunting?

Pretty bad answers here all around. The real solution is to "agree" with the in-laws and use that as a justification for getting a hunting only rifle. One load per rifle. Unlimited rifles per person. For me I'm going all ELD-Ms in each of my calibers (except 77gr TMKs in 223).

    Scope mounting loctite or not?

Everyone in this thread is a moron except me. I've been hunting since 1812 and never lost zero. What I do is hit the rings with a few tack welds after torquing to 100ft-lbs with a breaker bar. My trusty Loopolds never let me down, praise 8lb 6oz baby Jesus. Side note - does anyone get tired of...

    Gun parts classified?

Maybe the just subforum name could be changed to guns/ammo/parts? I don't want to speak for everyone, but I feel like the majority of users don't browse using the main Rokslide Forum landing page that shows all sub-forums. Either we're using Tapatalk or just clicking "What's new" to see new...

If this was any other company, everyone here would be dragging them through the mud claiming false advertising. The sheer production hubris displayed by Jake and his repeated claims of 90 days for a ground-up new product has predictably led us here to a painfully slow ramp up. In the end, I'm...

6.5 PRC: Fierce Rogue Carbon 20" vs. Seekins Havak Element 21"

Yes, Fierce flat-out stonewalled me when I attempted to get warranty work on their trash Reaper. I disagree that OP has done their research - Fierce shouldn't even be an option.

    2024 New Mexico Draw Results

No, but the past year or two the tags (if you drew any) would show up in the app the night before results went out to everyone else. I prefer paper tags but the chance of saving myself 8 hours of anxiety pushed me to e-tags this year...
