I flip metal working machines of all sorts. Enough to cover one of my monthly loan payments. Also started a gunsmith shop, feeds the habit. Still have my day job till I payoff my student loans in 2089.
300 PRC I turned out. Shot my first Bull with it a few years ago. Personally I think any of the 7mm mags about perfect for elk. Got a 7-08 on my build list that might end up on future elk hunts.
Yes I spent a lot of time researching all that before my trip. I think maybe the other issue was not having it packed full. The top straps were maxed out and could not be tightened any further to bring the top tight.
There is really one way to mount it outside of switching to the load carry mode.

You would think they would want to work on the higher dollar Comb license before the antlerless tags, or at least do them at the same time. I haven't seen my combo # move yet.
