    I'm 63 and won't solo hunt elk cuz I am using traditional archery and need a decent caller to get a shot. If I were rifle hunting this would less of an issue.

    I have had meat aged for weeks, just wrap the meat with plastic wrap after 36hrs and you lose hardly anything. Had one old bull bison aged for 7 weeks, meat was nice and tender after that.
