    This is a custom Mauser built by Bliss E Titus back in the 60s. I picked it up at an auction cheap and got it ready to hunt. It has some dents and dings from the previous owner but I wish that it could talk. Oh the stories it could tell. She has taken 5 deer, a pronghorn and now an elk with it.

    You don't say how tall your wife is. My daughter shoots a Browning A5 Light 20ga and she loves it. The semi auto soaks up the recoil. If she's on the smaller side a youth model would be a good choice.
