    North Dakota Velvet

My first Solo trip this year. Shooting September on North Dakota public. Self filmed with an A7siii - Tried S-Log3 and color grading, turned out decent. What an awesome experience to go in blind, never placing boots on the ground until season opened.

Hunting Velvet Bucks in Nebraska - Early Season 2022 Was like a desert..

If you've been debating trying to hunt Nebraska for Mule deer, the harsh reality is it is difficult. Limited Public Land, weather, pressure, etc... It's a very humbling experience for someone to try, but boy is it a grind.

The Hunt For a North Dakota Mule Deer - Full Length Film

We Dispersed camped the first 2 nights - we intended on camping the entire trip. I work for a company that manufactures a tent brand, actually was suppose to product test a prototype - got all the way out there and realized that not every part was on that tent. We had to run to Dickinson and buy...

The Hunt For a North Dakota Mule Deer - Full Length Film

Been a really rough year for hunting after moving states, and have made significantly less videos now that I'm filming for work most of my days. It's a pretty good story - rollercoaster of emotions for my buddy as I documented his hunt out in the Badlands this past October.

    Sony A6500 help

Big camera guy here. I run the sony A7siii so it's premiere quality, but the A6500 is a great camera and will get you clear quality. a couple things to look into and check. If you used auto mode and filmed in Low light, I bet that camera cranked the ISO and that could potentially be why you...

    2 Turkeys Behind 1 MOJO Scoot-N-Shoot

I literally filmed for 3 different crews this year... Starting in early april, I was traveling and filming with Barronett Ground Blinds. Then I decided to hook up with a crew called "The Seasoned Butcher" (Focus on Field to Table tutorials and meat making)... I didn't actually get a turkey tag...

    186" Public Land Giant

I've always known the genetics there were good, and the limestone soil helps them with natural minerals as well. The hunter density there is over 15 hunters per square mile, that spot probably had 20 trucks in the parking lot as well. It seems they don't move very far from bedding if at all...

    186" Public Land Giant

Thanks guys, every day I keep hearing things form local guys that new about that deer and were hunting it. In a way I almost feel a tad guilty, but at the same time I busted my butt the past 6 years learning that spot, finally caught a break.

    186" Public Land Giant

Thats a beauty of a buck man. Yes B&C have calculators. Basically measure all the tines from the main beam. The beam length. The inside spread (Widest Point) and you get 4 mass measurements on each side.

    186" Public Land Giant

Anyone else this year shoot their PB? I've hunted this spot of public for 6 years straight and never taken a buck there... but the deer sign and deer I've seen while scouting have kept me going back. I guess this year was my year, because on our last morning there, I had this big boy and a doe...

2021 Missouri Non-Typical on Public Land

I'm a big preacher on situational practice at the range, because shooting a still target at a fixed distance is so different from archery hunting a live animal... I appreciate you checking it out Mike!

2021 Missouri Non-Typical on Public Land

I definitely have been grinding this out since July... I bet I've had more hours this year scouting before season than I have ever before. Night after night patterning what fields, areas, and times of day they were out. Then I patterned the movement based off wind direction, temp, moon work...

    Nebraska mulies??

I'm sure you bitch about guys using ONX and Hunstand who can open a map and see where public land is... I bet you get pissed when someone hangs a stand next to an area you scouted too. If you really don't want to deal with pressure and you piss and moan about everything, buy your own private...
