    WTB Easton Super Nocks

Looking to buy some Easton Super Nocks or trade for, preferably white but will consider any color. These are the old-style Super Nocks that I'm wanting, not 3D Super Nocks, or the new style Micro Super Nocks, just plain Super Nocks. Can buy or trade as I have other nocks if interested, like...

    Treestand pack

When I'm carrying my climber in, I have one of those small bungee cord nets that hold all my clothing to the back of the stand, by simply stretching the bungee net over all the clothes and hooking an open portion of the net at 4 points on the stand. For trips to stands that are already set, I...

    140 inch 8 point?

Now that's an 8 point, would never see a buck like that here on Public lands in PA. I'm guessing he's from Kansas, Iowa or Canada? Great Buck!

    140 inch 8 point?

Yes, did pick him up a couple days ago, but just now getting around to posting. I'm no official scorer but feel it's safe to say he's right around 140 gross, as I came up with 141 6/8, Thanks to all, now I now know personally what a 140 inch 8 point looks like.

    140 inch 8 point?

You apparently didn't read the whole thread? I already explained it was warm and more concerned with the meat than a score and it is now at the processor. Again, the only reason I asked, was because a guy who helped put it in the truck said it was definitely in the 140's which I disagreed with...

    140 inch 8 point?

That's my guess, just going on other deer I have. And just so others don't take this the wrong way, I honestly do not care what it scores, if I did, I would have measured it regardless the fact it was warm and pressed for time. The fact is the guy who helped me put it in my truck said it looked...

    Jet sled and cart combo?

Thats interesting, could find a way to lock the sled to it, but only question the transfer of deer in the sled, on and off the cart several times? In your opinion if you had say, a 180lb. deer in the sled, would it be easy sliding the sled with the deer in it off and on the cart? Just wasn't...

    140 inch 8 point?

You're not bursting my bubble, was just looking for opinions, I'm happy regardless of what it scores coming off PA Gamelands. But did you read my #4 post?

    Jet sled and cart combo?

Does anyone use the jet sled combo conversion cart, and if so, how do you like it? Or the jet sled with some other type of wheeled hauler that works well? I have a homemade 2 wheeled cart that works well on most terrain with the exception of up hills or down steep hills where the weight is just...

    140 inch 8 point?

Not really was getting very warm, had to get him to a cooler without messing around, so those were just quick phone pics when I found him.

    140 inch 8 point?

I know it's hard to tell from not so good pics, but just going on my last buck that grossed 132, this one is definitely bigger than 127 or 132 gross. Here's another pic, but still not the best, Thanks

    140 inch 8 point?

I know it takes a good 8 point to score 140 or better, but just for the sakes of gross score, was curious if you think this 8 will gross 140 or better? Had to get him to the processor so really didn't have time, I do have some 130 inch plus 8 points, but no 8 points grossing over 140, Was just...

    What bow is everyone shooting?

Shooting a Mathews Traverse and also a 30in Halon 7. The 30in. Halon 7 never got as much hype as the Traverse, which is a great bow, but for some reason I prefer the 30in Halon over the Traverse. Just find it odd that I can shoot the 30in ata Halon more consistently than the 33in ata Traverse?

    Turkey load alternatives

I agree, TSS is great for turning a smaller gauge into a reliable turkey gun. I went with TSS to turn my 20 gauge from a 25-30 yard lead gun to a 40 yard gun, which is more than enough. I honestly can only remember shooting one turkey at 40 -42 yard range in all my years, and that was on an open...

    40 yard turkey

I agree, most want to blow out the 10 ring at 40 yards, which I never understood? I made the switch to TSS with a 20 gauge a few years ago, and just shoot factory Federals. All I know every turkey target I have shot are all dead birds at 40. But nowadays most will say the Federals are junk...
