I bought these used about 15 years ago. Have only worn them twice. Just doesn’t get cold enough here. Waist is 36. Inseam is hemmed to about 33 1/2”. $160 shipped.
Like the title says, quiver for sale. The leather is a little faded. It holds three arrows. There’s room for four but I have no idea what happened to the fourth arrow button. And do you really need four? $60 shipped.
Anyone else? I was thinking 7-08 for something lighter recoiling, but even though I’ll be reloading, .308 for ammo availability is comforting. Was thinking I could load up 125-130 grain pills out of a 308 and get similar recoil impulse to a 7-08. All shots on game would be inside 300.
I’m getting ready to start reloading and the hobbit rifle will be the platform upon which I cut my teeth. Right now I have a 23” 30-06 barrel but I’m going to pick up either a 20” 308 or 7mm-08 as well. I was curious what you boys are running, whether or not you’re loading for it, and if you...

I’m looking at a 1970’s lever gun and the owner says there’s a couple of marks in the bore but that it still shoots well.
Assuming accuracy isn’t an issue, Would y’all buy a rifle like that?
I’m gonna have to disagree on the Alamo unless your a history buff. It’s pretty anticlimactic, especially considering all that’s around it. Maybe 100 years ago it was cool but now it’s just a small building surrounded by big buildings and trees that should have died but are supported by cabling...
Apparently I’m obsessed with this project…keep checking this thread to see if anyone has responded. Lol. Anyway, gonna ditch the 3.5x10 for a 2.5x. Not sure how far the neighbors truck is down the street, 150-200 I’m guessing, but 2.5x is plenty to hold tight on the tailgate latch. So, with...
