    Hey Idaho Elk, you have any suggestions for early cow hunt near irrigation in Unit 50? We changed from the Sawtooth tag this year to Pioneer Zone, too much pressure and traffic where we were. Thanks in Advance.

    Idaho Unit 50 or 36 A Elk

    Anyone know a good place to setup camp for the August Unit 50 Idaho Cow Elk tag. I know it has to be within a mile of irrigation, I went up an scouted trail creek road, but it was packed.

    Boise area got some rain this morning also. Problem is it was more of a brief thunderstorm that hopefully did not start any more lighting fires.

    Idaho Unit 50 Cow Elk

    Did either of you have any luck? I am headed up there this year. I have searched numerous areas of private near 93, but I don't see "hunting" access. Seen some moose and a few deer. Not much in the way of public land elk especially cow near irrigation.
