Would like to trade a coyote brown duplex lite frame 24 inch, short shoulder straps, and small belt for a coyote brown or ranger green 22 inch tactical, short shoulder straps, and small belt.
Or will sell for 300 shipped.
Looking for a friend who is interested in early season whitetails (season 2022) on private land in Ky (with velvet potential) and is able to “setup” my wife on a buck in Ohio (season 2021).
PM for details. Must be honest and fair.
How many of you have the opportunity to harvest whitetails still holding velvet?
Is there a preference for tagging out early season versus later in the year- why/why not?
Decided to join to share my wealth of knowledge (if $$ is knowledge I’m poor as ****)
Or just to converse with one of the the last decent populations left in the world.
Most experienced with eastern hunting. I trap and fish too.
Why settle for a 175? I pass at least 7-8 of them a year in Ohio.
Need to go for ones with so much head gear their bottom jaw is bald from plowing ground.
My sick DIY- hefty bag reinforced with some gorilla tape. Every once-in-a-while a bracket will slip through and bust me in the spine if I toss it around too much. Handles are a little stretched but I can make more for low cost. Only real expense from it are the bandages.
Pretty much the only hunt I’ve been on where I actually did more fishing for the target animal. Depending on who you go with, you won’t regret a penny you spend on it if it is a bucket list.
