Yep, I have had the 6x30 for years and love them. Finally ready to replace my 8x42 with something I will carry with me everywhere i go scouting and fishing and walking. Maven is sold out until mid July on B3s
hard to beat 8x for huffin and puffin in the field. bracing on the truck window frame i can run 10x, but not on foot... those 7x45 B2s have got to be some low light monsters too though...
Well dang, I forgot about that cabelas viper $300 deal. That would probably be your best bet provided that the end user has eyes at 58mm or wider apart. My 56mm IPD is way to narrow for em' but they are a best buy at that price for sure. Otherwise cant go wrong with Nikon Monarch 5s and 7s either.
I was just throwing some ideas out for ya. Trying to hook you up with a decent deal. Have a look around this forum: https://www.birdforum.net/forums/classifieds-for-sale-or-wanted.288/

I have an Opticron DBA VHD + 8x42 Like New with full warranty to new owner, I would sell for $550 shipped. It is a made in japan clone of the Luepold BX5

What’s wrong with the current 32 alphas? Also too long for you?
I have trouble getting a good grip on the small barrels of skinny 32s myself. I love my chunky but short 8x32 Conquests for this reason. That and I can’t see a meaningful difference in image quality side by siding the EL 32.
I...
Scheels was closing some 8x32 ELs out for $1600 earlier this year. Probably sold out company wide at this point, but wouldn’t hurt to ask… they ship store to store for free.
I like my Conquests in 8x32 more than my Nikon HG in 8x42. But you cannot go wrong with either, and both will resale just fine. I avoided Kowa and Meopta due to heavy weights. The new Opticron Aurora are supposed to be as good as the aforementioned binos, and retail in the UK for 800 pounds...
I can't PM yet, total rookie move, so I'll post this here for the benefit of you and all the Roksliders...
