KUIU vs Sitka vs First Lite

I've never seen a full on comparison of all product lines, but I have seen certain components of each system compared. There's one on YouTube that compares all three brands' high end puffy jackets.

KUIU vs Sitka vs First Lite

Sitka seems to always be on "sale", which leads me to question how much their margins really are if they can consistently promote 25%, 30%, or 35% off their products. Plus, they're in every major sporting goods big box store which leads me to believe they have to be skimping at least a little...

    Colorado Wilderness Questions

I appreciate the offer to help. I actually decided on a hunt/unit that's outside any wilderness areas. I appreciate you though!

    Magview magnet giving GPS problems

That's exactly how I had mine setup. I left a voicemail for the Magview customer support team. Hopefully they call me back in the next couple of days.

    Magview magnet giving GPS problems

And you have no problems with the accuracy with your gps signal in the phone with plate on the case?

    Magview magnet giving GPS problems

That definitely makes sense. I'm hoping someone on rokslide has the s21 and can chime in with their experiences. I might have to call Magview's customer support to see if it's a known defect with that phone. I think I'm over $250 in on this setup between both components, and really don't want to...

    Magview magnet giving GPS problems

Then the metal plate is causing an issue with the GPS signal in my phone. I take the plate/case off and I have no problems getting an accurate location in any of my apps.

    Magview magnet giving GPS problems

I've read through several of the threads on here, and can't find where anyone calls out having this challenge. When I put the plate on my phone case for my S21 Ultra, the magnet plays hell with the GPS signal in all of my mapping apps. All the reviews I've read said this wasn't an issue, but it...

    Colorado Wilderness Questions

Hey Everyone! I have some questions about central Colorado wildernesses. I have the points to pull an archery tag in nearly all of them. I have it narrowed down to a couple options, but don't want to put any names or unit #s on a public forum. Was hoping someone who has a good knowledge of the...

Alpine Mule Deer - Archery vs Muzzleloader

This suggestion makes entirely too much sense! However, anytime there is politics and bureaucracy involved, rarely ever prevails.

Alpine Mule Deer - Archery vs Muzzleloader

Am I safe to assume that CBA = Colorado Bowhunter's Association? I think there are a lot of factors that have made it sexy to be an "elk hunter", and with that, so much has been commercialized, monetized, and driven in the name of elk hunting. Even though seasons were pushed back, I'm guessing...

Alpine Mule Deer - Archery vs Muzzleloader

That's what I was afraid of. I guess if I can find a few good ones before season opens and watch where they go when the recreationalists bump them, I might have a good chance of turning them back up with muzzleloader in hand. Or just draw the archery tag and hunt the first week.... decisions...

    Mule Deer Suggestions CO

Just like all these folks have already stated, I've learned to find the doe groups and keep a very close eye on them. A big deer may not be with them at that moment, but they will put some miles on looking for hot does. Typically, a mature deer will turn up with the doe group you're watching at...

Alpine Mule Deer - Archery vs Muzzleloader

Hey Everybody. Based on an understanding of general animal behavior I'm thinking I know the answer to this one, but would appreciate some feedback from the group. I have a significant amount of experience chasing mule deer in the plains and breaks country. I know if you bump them enough times...

Need a mule deer cape for a big, old mature deer

The guy is 76 years old. He does a kick ass job and been doing taxidermy forever, but doesn't want to do the legwork with finding a new cape. He's also 5 minutes from my buddy's house and has done several big mule deer for him.

Need a mule deer cape for a big, old mature deer

Hey Everyone. Something went wrong with a buddies cape at the taxidermist. He has a 30" buck that we are trying to find a new cape for. It was a big bodied, Kansas deer shot during mid-November. Anyone have an idea who he should call? Kansas deer are generally around 20" ear tip to ear tip. Thanks!
