I ordered a custom suppressor cover from Armageddon Gear for my Scythe Ti. Here are some photos. They don't list it as a standard size yet, but I measured and put the size it. It was in my hand less than a week after I ordered it.
If budget allows, Tikka in .308. A bit cheaper, Howa in .308. It is an incredibly versatile cartridge, once fired brass is basically free, ammo is everywhere, and anybody can shoot it.
It is not his complete life story, but River of Doubt by Candace Millard is a great book about TR and his son exploring an uncharted river in the Amazon basin.
The Glock 20 is the absolute gold standard of 10mm pistols. It has been around forever, and it runs like a sewing maching. I have had my Gen 4 since they came out. I have fired a variety of ammo out of it including Underwood and hot hand loads, and it has never malfunctioned. I also have a...
I have a number of cans in different formats. For hunting, you want a direct thread can. The simple option is to have something like the Gemtech Tracker that uses a fixed 5/8-24 mount. That is fine if it works for your rifles. If you have guns with barrel profiles that are less than 5/8" at...
I have to apologize. What I thought on a quick look was an end cap is actually a wrench you attach to the front end of the can if you have trouble getting the mount loose. I never would have figured this out without this video:

I have the original Harvester 30 which has a brake very similar to the Omega, and it does a nice job of reducing recoil and associated muzzle rise. It is not removable, so I can't really do a comparison, but I have been really happy with that can since I got it.
ETA: I have to apologize. What...
Welcome. Tikka makes a fine rifle for a reasonable price, but the plastic and styrofoam stock is annoying. You are on the right track. I don’t think there is a better site for hunting gear.
I got an e-mail from SilencerShop this morning attaching an approved copy of a second Form 4 (for my Scythe Ti) that I had submitted on Jan 3. It was approved yesterday. I haven't heard from the dealer on this one yet, but it is better than Christmas.
I don't think it really matters all that much. I have both MIL and MOA scopes, and they all work fine. For drop, I invariably have a chart taped to the stock translating range into MILS or MOA up. Wind calls for me tend to be intuitive. In the long range shooting world, the idea that you...
Not nobody. My elk rifle is a 26" Wby Mk 5 in 300 Wby, and I run a can on it. The whole point of a magnum cartridge is to push the bullet faster, so why would I want a short barrel?
I find it interesting that Wby is moving away from their traditional Monte Carlo stocks. I like them, and I...
I have a few of rifles that came with brakes. I have never used them. I have cans on most of my hunting rigs. But the ones that don't are generally larger caliber. I don't know of a can that works on a .416 Rigby for instance. Plus it has nice irons.
Once you have hunted suppressed, you...
Your boys won’t be able to buy a pistol from an FFL until they are 21 per the Gun Control Act. There is litigation pending in several states challenging it under Bruen, but it has been the law since 1968.
