    I have sitka pants currently ,but looking to get some kuiu attacks. They look like they will fit well but I am somewhat concerned about peoples comments on durability. Kinda hard to pay for any of these brands of they won't last long.

    I have really appreciated all the input on packs from to hose of you much more experienced than me. Looking to buy a new pack. Up to this point have only done day type pack outs using my badlands day pack. Now venturing into multiday hunts so thanks for this thread

    I agree there are times when it's appropriate.i got the felling from the OP that's it was lazy hunters. I always hope that we try to do the best by the animal as hunters.

    The guys who "shot" the bull are the worst type of hunter IMO. Doesn't seem like they cared much for the animal, shooting at that distance -so they say- and not putting in the effort to find him that night.     Currently living in central Texas, just south of Austin, but originally from west Texas. Yes Texas does have a lot of different species here , lots of great whitetail and exotics. Mostly private hunting land though.
