Do you feel though like the jacket and a few layers you don’t feel “trapped” in the shoulders or anything? I know they’ve worked on the cut specifically for that. I hate the marshmallow feel
I am looking to purchase a warmer jacket or vest. I'm torn between the First Lite Solitude jacket as an end all warm jacket, or if I think I can get down to around the 30 degree mark in the Fanatic Vest, with layers.
The idea of my arms free for Trad bow hunting is why I'm considering the vest...
Pop up 38 here. Quartered the deer for it into the pack. I got 60lbs of meat from the processor from him. So with bone and everything in the pack yea, good amount of weight. It handled it fine. 1 mile hike out.
BUT! As I said in my other comment My Kifaru Stryker feels WAY better and worth...

Also have Deuter Kid carrier but let my wife use it...
Let me see your Stryker or Stryker XL setup Pics. How you running em. Just trying to see where people are stuffing what etc. Bonus points for pics with how or where you put your climbing sticks!
I committed to trad only, even sold my compound, and came up empty handed one season. SUCKED. wanted to quit. The next season I stayed committed and killed a mature buck. Nothing beats that feeling once it all lines up. I'm hooked on trad now. The most obvious thing for me compared to compound...
I used a Mystery Ranch Pop up 38 for 2-3 years. They had great customer service when I would break buckles etc. Just was annoyed I was breaking straps or buckles. Worked great though, hauled multiple deer with it a mile out. I now have a Kifaru Stryker and let me just say this, ill never go...
