    Haha!!!! great thought. I'd read on some other forums that checking out local ranches or guide services for just that, meat retrieval, is a thing. I'd never thought about that and will do some checking when I scout the next 2 planned trips up there before my hunt. Great stuff!

    What caliber tradition loader for Elk ?

    Having done a little reading, it seems that a 54 would do the job, especially using the Powerbelt Copper Aerotip bullet non-sabot for Colorado. I've zeroed my Hawken with them and they shoot really well at paper out to 125 yards or so. Anyone have any success using them for Elk?
