    OnX... Or...????

I personally use both OnX and Spartan Forge. I really love the map on Spartan Forge, but I do think OnX is a little more user friendly in some ways. I also enjoy that I can access OnX maps via desktop/laptop.. I don’t believe you can look at the Spartan Forge map unless you’re on the app. I’ve...

    Whitetail scouting

First thing I look for in an area is somewhere that others most likely won't go.. whether that means natural obstacles or just long distances through the timber. I prefer having to go through water or super thick growth as most guys are going to hit that point and say "screw that". Tends to pay off.

New archer - bow suggestions ??

I got back in the game this January after more than 10 years of being out. Went with a used Bowtech Revolt X. I really dig it, love that I can tinker with any adjustments without a bow press. Saves me money on a press (for the time being) and a trip to the local pro shop which is about an hour...

What is the most user friendly trail cam?

I recently picked up four Tactacam Reveal X cams. So far I like them a lot! Set up for the camera is on the app, as well as a “testing” viewing screen on the app. The testing screen is nice because you can walk into the target zone of your cam while watching your phone to see if you like the...

    Bareshaft tuning with Deadlock

I’m not an expert by any means, but I am pretty sure you’re supposed to move the top and bottom cams in the same direction equally. I have a Bowtech Revolt X, here’s a screenshot from the manual.

    Career choice advice

I’m currently 25. Always had “side gigs” for cash as a minor and when I turned 18 I started landscaping on the books. After a couple years of that, did roadside flagging for a year (boring as ****) for gas companies and electric companies. Then the next year I went out commercial fishing...

Questions for the resident HVAC mini-split expert

Looks like either the wrong size lineset was used as stated above, or he just cut it short and used a piece of larger diameter copper for a coupling. If he used the wrong size lineset then that could be giving you problems with the compressor in the future. Also if the lineset is in fact only...

    Sold Sitka Equinox Pant 36T

New model Equinox Pant with the waterproof seat (model #50261). Pants are in like-new condition, no rips/tears/pulls/stains. Catch and release from a different forum, I only wore them once in the house. Getting rid of them because they’re just too big around the waist on me, I replaced them with...

    Arrow Weight

I am shooting a ~500 grain arrow (just about balls on +/- 1 or 2 grains) and am quite happy with the performance so far. 60lb Bowtech Revolt X at 31”. Haven’t had this arrow out in the woods yet, so time will tell.. but so far so good in the back yard. I’m hunting mainly timber so shots over 30...

Shotgun for 18 Year Old Son?

I don’t believe 870s are what they used to be.. but that probably goes for the 500 too, as well as so many other classics. I would agree to stick with a 26” barrel. Don’t have any real solid suggestions for you. My “daily driver” when it comes to waterfowl/turkey/pheasant is a Baikal MP 153. It...
