Super zoom bridge cameras- FZ300 vs SX70

UPDATE: I did purchase a new Canon 70SX HD. Not totally certain of my overall thoughts. Trying to learn and advance. I do like the in viewfinder electronics that show the changes and tweaks I am making prior to shutter trip. Helping me learn. Auto is challenging. Not really able to over...

TRIJCON thinks wind only blows one way!

Gold Jerry.....solid Gold. I am glad you added the torque specs and have them correctly in Ft Lbs....most idiots think they're inch pounds and wonder why they're scope rings fail and the scope slips. +10

TRIJCON thinks wind only blows one way!

I'd be very interested in the box it arrived in also. I think many of the Trijicon optics are made in Japan. If the markings are not in English, then it's been assembled in Japan and the parallax will be for sure southern hemisphere only and the northern hemisphere parallax will NOT adjust all...

TRIJCON thinks wind only blows one way!

OK. That makes sense. THen you need to rotate it 270 degrees the other directon and never hunt the southern hemisphere with that rig.

Swfa 3-15 milquad or Optika6 as a Nrl22 base class scope

I don't compete, but use the T1X/SWFA as a Trainer. Shot yesterday. Think you get very improved tracking and reliability with the SWFA. You'll lose brightness and image quality. I have/had 4+ 3-15s. There are some micro variances. The one I shot yesterday had very finicky parallax. Like...

Josh Smith from Montana Knife Company

It's the least I could do for him, but if you clicked you already know. Many of the current line of MKC knives never really horned me up too too much. Nice, but didn't scratch an itch. Then he designed the Stoned Goat. To me...THAT is the backpacking/hunting knife of knives. When they...

Any College wrestling fans as we head into the post season?

I saw it. I thought it was epic. They generally mind their manners and mouth. Dylan ripped it. I dont follow UNC AT ALL. I know AC beat Levi for a title last year. The German kid Clarke placed high. Ramos went to UNC but did he stay (on staff)?

Any College wrestling fans as we head into the post season?

For real? Where you getting the good Intel? Okie State just snagged Hamiti.....wondering if Dean was aware of the retirement? I would think Coach Smith was always the draw to the program.

Any College wrestling fans as we head into the post season?

I know you're an OSU fan. But the Perry dude never did much for me. Are Guerrero and Espo still on staff?

Your First Shot on a Cold Bore is the most important.

Lastly, I think a great test would be a 120 second time limit to Cold Bore a 1 MOA target that's unknown to you. That's get your distance, read your wind, run your Ap, crank your turrrets and make a shot. True cold bore and ammo. Think most of us would be done inside 500 yards. Me included...

Your First Shot on a Cold Bore is the most important.

Oh....you do. I fling a ton of arrows and compete often. But I am ballistic nerd and rifle nerd....you guys with half ins and half outs and Americium inserts and calculating the half life of your left helical, right twisted bowstrings are BONKERS

Your First Shot on a Cold Bore is the most important.

Maybe Rokslide is a group of Elite and dedicated shooters and "rarified air". But even in the higher end semi custom off the shelf....in my experience....there's a TON of shift from true, out of the safe and onto the range Cold Bore zero and those shots to follow for the rest of the afternoon...
