Wow, looks amazing! Nothing beats a nice piece of walnut. I’m really digging the classic style walnut stock combined with the more modern defiant action and carbon barrel. Can’t wait to see it when finished. Great work!
I’ve made several knives from old saw blades, files and rasps. I think my favorite thing to use was farrier rasps. If I remember right they are 1085 steel. A lot of the times just ask a farrier and they will give you there used ones. They are wider than most files and you can get a decent size...
That’s a great idea. I hung my holster off of one of the straps that click to the bottom, made for an awkward cross draw. I like this way better. A lot easier to get to. I’m going to have to try that this year.
