Sold Stone Glacier Grumman Pants NWT- Medium

@T28w Sorry i missed your response somehow. That is a great question and I am not sure how to answer it other than I am wearing 34x32 FL Corrugate Foundry pants and The medium would work but just a tad on the tight side so I opted for the Large just to be safe. I think overall they are true to...

    North Slope Boots

That is helpful and probably why the answers very so much from person to person. Weight is only an issue with flying from lower 48 to Alaska but might be something I can dial in to see if I can pack something like that. I do have access to Wiggy's but know those are more for stream crossings...

    North Slope Boots

Mcseal2 I found the other Alaska Caribou Boots thread and started reading through that as well as remember your thread on your experience up there. The look of the boots dont matter a ton to me but the cost with them is the biggest thing to get over, I also cannot try them on anywhere locally so...

    North Slope Boots

I know this has been talked about in various threads but looking for a solid thread dedicated to it. Some has said Tuff Gear or LaCrosse but there is no way I would survive in those up there on the uneven ground. Currently have a pair of 10" Schnee's Beartooth boots and some 8" Scarpa...

Game cart on the Haul Rd?

Not sure I would use anything with a wheel up there. And i have seen that soft sided "bags" are terrible. Check these out. Not cheap but I know of a place out of Fairbanks to rent them from, in fact I will be taking 2 up this fall to use if we do the death march ourselves...

    Argali Knives

Having owned a Benchmade Altitude and sold it for the Carbon knife I am happy with my decision. The weight is basically the same, yes its a little softer metal but some argue the SV90 is too much, especially if you let it get dull on you. I just like added G10 grips that give you much more...
