    Northern CA/Nevada lab breeder

Had to put our 14.5 year old chocolate lab down yesterday. Always hard to deal with but my family including an 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter would like to get a puppy lined up for the summer. If anyone knows of a good breeder in the Northern California or Northern Nevada we're looking...

    Drought

I was in the highway 4 corridor last week and what little was there is melting quickly. I not sure if it's related to the dry weather but I've never seen the trees at 5,000' put off so much sap this time of year.

    SO Backpack advice

Thanks that's a good video. Watching that I realize I need a bigger pack. I 'm 6'4" and have a Kifaru Duplex frame and I cannot get my load lifters anywhere near where he has them with the extensions.

California introduces bill to ban Bear Hunting

Thanks for mentioning The Sportsman Alliance. I had been meaning to join. Their sight at least has information up about the proposed ban so I joined and gave them quite a bit.

California introduces bill to ban Bear Hunting

There is no legitimate reason. It's all emotion which is why I believe we have a good chance to win this if we get our voices heard.

Exo vs Stone Glacier vs KUIU

Do you know where Kuiu makes there packs? It's hard to find hunting products made in the USA. It's great that we have SG, EXO and Kifaru as well performing American made options. I have a Kirfaru and wouldn't consider buying a new pack that's not made here.

    Should I insulate my garage?

Good decision. If you decide on HVAC down the road I'd go with a Fujitsu ductless mini-split. Simple install and you'll get heating and cooling.

Preferred shotgun for clays, doves, pheasants, ducks, and geese

I've have my M2 super 90 for close to 20 years and it works like new. The simplicity of the gun has always amazed me.

    Rifle stock fit advise

I've decided to put a new stock on my early 2000's Model 70 in 7MM. My main reason for changing is to lighten the gun and maybe get a bump in accuracy. I'm leaning toward the Mcmillan Hunters Edge but I don't know much about properly sizing a rifle. I'm 6'4+ and I add about 1 1/4" to my...

    Ducks

We get a few every year. Real pretty but they are not close to Green Wings for taste. They're starting to classify them more like Spoonbills tha Greenwings.

    Duck waders 150-200$ range

Non-insulated Cabelas Dry-Plus should be close in price. I've good luck with those over the years.

    B Zone Chatter 2020

I'm afraid you're overestimating the people in charge. Maybe I've become too cynical but I don't expect they have a plan, at least not one they would stick too.
